About Us

Company History

Renaissance Antiquarian, Incorporated, began in 2002 when it’s owner, Mack Burkhead, M.D., developed an interest in collecting machine guns, hereafter referred to as NFA weapons (referring to federal legislation, the 1934 National Firearms Act, regulating machine guns, suppressors, short-barreled shotguns (SBS), short-barreled rifles (SBR) and destructive devices).

As my interest and knowledge of firearms continued to grow, in 2004, I quite naturally moved into the next phase of development, which was to acquire a Federal Firearms License and Special Occupational Taxpayer status to do business in both standard handguns and long guns as well as federally-registered firearms (NFA firearms).

I deal in all types of firearms, including pistols, long guns (shotguns and rifles) and registered weapons (machine guns, suppressors, SBR and SBS).

From standard factory firearms to complex tactical, hunting and custom firearms, I can obtain virtually any weapon you may need. These firearms are acquired through large distributors as well as through small custom shops, based upon established personal relationships with the owners.

It is my goal to provide my customers with high quality firearms and firearms-related products of great value with good communication, integrity, and honesty.

Yours very sincerely and respectfully,

Mack Burkhead, M.D.
