Description:The receiver is marked ”cos” and “fxo”. The operating rod, bolt, buttstock and receiver are all matching serial numbers. The barrel is marked 202B. I see no other codes on the barrel. This is an original WWII “bring back” from the war and registered in the 1968 Amnesty from Nov-Dec 1968. This weapon was discovered in the attic of the veteran whose family was liquidating the estate. Originally it was not known whether this weapon was registered, but later it was ascertained to be legal and transferable. MP43 is an earlier version than the MP44 and STG44. I have the amnesty paperwork from a Freedom of Information Act request.

Description:This is an interesting weapon. I purchased this weapon in 2004. I was told (and also indicated in the “manufacturer” section on the Form 4), that it was an original WWII gun, Erma being the manufacturer. However, I discovered after I purchased it that “Stemple” was engraved on the bottom of the tube. This is not a reweld or a tube gun, as I and many others have examined it. I actually spoke to John Stemple on the telephone about this gun to try to discover the reason it was stamped Stemple. He indicated it is not a tube gun or a reweld, but he believes it goes back to the few weeks leading up to the 1986 machine gun ban. John told me that there was an ATF agent assigned to him who was physically present in his shop as he ultimately built and/or registered over 2,400 machine gun between 9 April and 18 May 1986. He said that since things were so busy during that time, the agent essentially made him stamp “Stemple” on everything, like it or not. He said that is the explanation for the stamping found on the gun. I believe it to be an original gun, and it also has a indentation on the rear pistol grip that clearly looks like a bullet strike– but I absolutely feel compelled to disclose the fact it APPEARS to be a tube gun. I am likewise also not asking a typical C & R price for it, I might add.

Description:An excellent condition MAC 11/9mm submachine gun with approx 500rds through the gun with the lightly fired Lage upper included. This gun has installed the front vertical grip, extended improved safety switch and improved thumb magazine release, along with the Lage fixed skeleton stock. It is the version of the Lage upper which slows the rate of fire to approx 500 rds per minute. Very smooth and fun to fire. All original components of the MAC 11/9 are included if one chose to disassemble the Lage upper and restore the firearm to its original configuration.

Description:Created as an inexpensive replacement for the Thompson submachine gun, this is an original M3 Grease gun with British Lend Lease Act proof marks on the barrel. One is able to see the weld marks around the magazine release where British armorers welded a bar over the magazine release button to avoid inadvertent dropping of the magazine while firing in combat.
